Anita was born in England and has spent most of her life in Scotland, UK, where she met her husband Angus Gunn McAulay. Together Anita and Angus founded and led the Open Door Fellowship / Church for 25 years, and are still active in church ministry in their own location, and speaking engagements throughout Scotland.

They have two children Jane and Mark, and two grandchildren: Jane is married to Ewan, and living in New Zealand and they have two children, Harris and Eva. Their son Mark is planning to live in NZ also.

Anita was involved in Aglow International for many years, as President of the first chapter in Scotland and on the UK National Board. She also pioneered a children’s work in a very needy area of Glasgow and led it for 14 years. She speaks at Aglow meetings, church meetings, and various types of groups.

Through her talks Anita’s purpose is to encourage and motivate people to step into a higher level in their lives, and win in any situation. As a teacher and counsellor, she seeks to bring encouragement, inspiration, purpose, value, love and peace to others as well as encouraging listeners to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ!
